Alabama Green Report new Green The Greener Side of Alabama’s Workforce, Your Pathway to Green Jobs report was prepared by the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations in response to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant awarded to the Labor Market Information Division.  The premise of the Alabama Green Report was to determine the extent of the green labor market in plausible energy efficient and renewable energy industries.  Additionally, the report identifies occupations and skill requirements characterized as ‘green’ within those industries in Alabama.
ACLMIS Alabama's Comprehensive Labor Market Information System (ACLMIS) interactively displays and analyzes a wide variety of labor market information which is stored in the nationally standardized Workforce Information Database (WID).
Alabama Supply Report The report was prepared for the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations through a partnership with the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA), the National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE) and Advanced Workforce Systems. It seeks to answer the basic question of where are the workers?
Alabama West WIRED Report The U.S. Department of Labor's Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development (WIRED) Initiative allows regions across the country to apply for federal dollars to enhance economic development by bringing together state, local, and federal agencies.  Western Alabama and Eastern Mississippi form a region encompassing eighteen counties in Alabama and nineteen counties in Mississippi. The counties included in the Alabama portion are Marion, Lamar, Fayette, Walker, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Greene, Sumter, Hale, Perry, Dallas, Marengo, Choctaw, Clarke, Wilcox, Monroe, Lowndes, and Conecuh.
2011 Benefits Survey A survey of employers in the state describing the type of benefits their employees receive. The findings are organized by the following five categories: insurance, paid leave, retirement, miscellaneous benefits, and cost of benefits. The survey findings are further summarized by industry, region of the state, and by business size.

Green Benefits Survey
new GreenThe Green Benefits Survey has been produced through a Labor Market Information Improvement Grant awarded to Alabama through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The study provides information on the types of benefits reported green employers in the state offer their employees. It covers insurance, paid leave, retirement, miscellaneous benefits, and cost of benefits. Finally the study provides a comparison of benefits offered by the reported green employers as opposed to all other surveyed employers in the state.
Business Employment Dynamics (BED) Newsletter STATE OF ALABAMA BUSINESS EMPLOYMENT DYNAMICS: The Business Employment Dynamics (BED) data are a quarterly measure of gross job gains (expansions and openings) and gross job losses (contractions and closings) and is derived from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages.
Census Older Worker Report The Geographic Distribution and Characteristics of Older Workers in Alabama: 2004, refreshed with 2009 data.
Commuting Pattern Reports Where do Alabama Residents Work? Where do Alabama Workers Live? These reports contain travel pattern statistics and are updated to include the latest (2009) data.
               Map Selection:
High Tech in Alabama Report Based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics standards of High Technology Industries and Occupations, this report displays the dispersion of high tech employment in the State and the Workforce Development Regions (WDR). It concludes with employment projections for these high tech industries and occupations for the State and WDR through the year 2018.
Maps Maps showing the locations of certain industries throughout the State and Workforce Development Regions.
Projections The Alabama Labor Market Information Division produces projected employment by occupation and industry for the State and Workforce Development Regions.  National Projections are available from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Office of Occupational Statistics and Employment Projections.
Publications This is a list of  monthly, quarterly, annual, and biennial publications that are produced by the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations, Labor Market Information Division.  
Quarterly Workforce Concentration Maps Indicators are thematically mapped across all counties in Alabama to show concentrations of total employment,  new hires, turnover, and separations activity as well as net job flows and average monthly earnings.    Historical Maps:
