Wage Estimates Table of Contents
Occupational Wages by Industry Sector
ALABAMA 2012 EMPLOYMENT AND WAGE ESTIMATES
Choose an Industry Sector and Area:
  • Entry Wage is the average of the lower third of the population.
  • Mean Wage is an estimated average of what people in this occupation, industry, and area make. It is determined by dividing the total wages by the total estimated employment.
  • Experienced wage is the average of the upper two-thirds of the population.

This data is provided by the Alabama Department of Industrial Relations, Labor Market Information Division in cooperation with the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  The data is based on the 2011 release of the Occupational Employment Statistics report, employment and wage estimate file.  Wage data has been aged using the latest quarterly Employment Cost Index (ECI) factors.  'NA' indicates data not available for publication.
